Ger Regan

Ger Regan is a leading specialist in Fleet Finance & Leasing, Asset Re-Marketing, Asset Disposal Management and Vendor Finance Development with over 20 years of international management leadership experience. He previously joined Abu Dhabi Finance (ADF) in 2018 as a Specialist Consultant to support the company’s product diversity strategy into equipment finance lending. Subsequently, Ger was appointed as Vice President – Equipment Finance, taking responsibility for the overall strategy execution, management and delivery of the product within the UAE through forging relationships with end users, distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Before joining ADF, Ger held a number of senior positions in equipment leasing within Bank of Ireland, AIB Bank and Lombard Ireland (part of the RBS Group). In 2007, during the height of the global recession, Ger was appointed Divisional Head of Recoveries as part of the global RBS strategic review.

In 2012, he was appointed by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (ME) as Head of Corporate and Financial Institutions for the MENA, India and Asia regions where he conducted stressed and surplus asset management projects on their behalf, in partnership with financial institutions and in conjunction with corporate clients. These projects took Ger to India, Myanmar, Borneo, Thailand, South Africa and Malaysia, using Jebel Ali as the location for equipment global remarketing and sale.

In 2015, Ger returned to the Equipment Finance lending sector taking up a position with Corplease Emirates as Head of Vendor Development, and later in 2016 was instrumental in setting up and managing the Operating Lease division within Al Hail Orix Finance.

Outside working hours, Ger is a fitness and sports enthusiast and a keen golfer, spending most weekends on the golf course.
